Property Red Flags: Building Systems, Safety, and Inspection Reporting

Recognize visible red flags across site, roof, exterior, structure, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and interior systems.
Prioritize safety and material conditions and make supportable specialist referrals.
Separate observation from inference and document inspection limitations.
Write clear condition-impact-recommendation narratives and apply professional ethics.
Four-hour outline
Module 1 — Site, Exterior, Roof and Drainage Red Flags (60 minutes).
Module 2 — Structure, Foundation and Interior Red Flags (60 minutes).
Module 3 — Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC Red Flags (60 minutes).
Module 4 — Reporting, Ethics, Limitations and Documentation (60 minutes).
Florida filing controls
Fee: Provider application $125; course application $0.
Timing: Approval is required before advertising or offering Florida credit.
DBPR HI 0403 provider application first.
DBPR HI 0404 continuing-education course application after a provider number is assigned.
Interactive-distance controls, instructor materials, certificate and evaluation are prepared.
Delivery and records
The course uses unique learner identity, sequential gated modules, active-time and interaction logs, required knowledge checks, start/end attestations, instructor support, state-specific completion rules, completion certificates and six-year electronic record retention.
